Local bands: Besides myself, there are a bunch of dj's on WNHU that love to support local bands, but there is nothing that we can do if we do not know that you exist. So be sure to get in contact with me or any one of the other dj's and get us a copy of your cd.
Advice: The cd will go onto a local band shelf in the music library, so here are a few things to think about.
1) Slim line cd cases suck, a regular cd jewel case is much better because when the cd is stacked on the shelf, you will be able to read the cd spine and it will make it easier for the dj's to find, and in turn will play it more often.
2) Be sure to label the cd and include as much info as possible, especially lyrics.
3) Post on your home page that the cd is at the station and urge your friends and fans to call the above request lines and request your band. I can be a great tool for you to get your cd into the station's library, but I cannot force the other dj's to play it.

4) If your songs are full of curse words, then we cannot play them on the air. The FCC makes the rules and we must follow them. I'm not saying that you shouldn't curse, but if you do, please don't expect to be played on American radio...
